HISTORY
In 1971 the 'articulated trailer equiment company'-ATEC for short- was formed in Dronfield, South of Sheffield, and began life distributing quality brand trailer parts across Yorkshire and the East Midlands. A couple of years later H S Commercial Spares was incorporated in Ossett, near Wakefield, to supply truck parts to the HGV repair market. HS Atec was formed in 1998 when these two specialist parts companies merged and formed the basis of today's 5 branch network. Both companies have excellent track records, with each having traded for over 25 years in Yorkshire and Derbyshire, establishing a reputation for quality and reliability - the very foundation upon which HS Atec is built. Today, the company carries over 30,000 part numbers at 5 'super branches' strategically located across Yorkshire, the North East and the East Midlands, and has in excess of 50 vehicles delivering parts and consumables to our customers from a current stock exceeding £1 million in value. All our parts are genuine, original equipment, offering performance, reliability and full traceability which is vital to maintaining your vehicles to full warranty standard.
SERVICE
Our delivery service is second to none, with over 50 quick response vehicles responding to telephone requests from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm every day (until noon on a Saturday), ensuring that our customers never have vehicles or fitters waiting a moment longer than necessary. We also offer an emergency call out to our major customers who open even longer hours than we do, so if you simply must have that part NOW we will come in and open up, just for you! Also for larger, busier customers we offer a full consignment stock service, where we will install a full range of fast moving parts for you, and only charge for the items as you fit them, but even the smallest local repairer can benefit from our service: the quality is the best, delivery is quick and free and the price will always be competitive. Having the product on the shelf is only half the story - we at HS Atec recognise that quality and service means picking the right part, first time, every time, and to do that you need keen, competent, highly trained and experienced staff. We have made a commitment to training which is the envy of our competitors and every salesman and sales staff member undergoes continuous training and development in order to be able to provide the best possible service, in order for our customers to be able to experience the right part, first time, every time in as quick a time as possible, meaning your vehicles are stood for less time, costing you, as a result, less money.
